How it works

A build loop you can actually repeat.

The book teaches the operating rhythm behind AI-assisted building, not just a pile of prompts. You learn what to ask for, how to inspect the result, and how to keep momentum when something breaks.

01

Set up

Start from a fresh Mac or Windows machine and get the right AI coding tool installed.

02

Prompt

Turn the thing in your head into a clear request the assistant can actually build from.

03

Review

Read the changes, test the result, and learn the few commands that matter.

04

Ship

Finish a personal website and a practical tool without pretending to be a software engineer.

What’s inside

Practical enough to keep open while you build.

Setup

Install the tool, sign in, understand billing, and open the right folder.

Workflow

Use the ask, review, correct, commit loop until the project works.

Builds

Follow two complete projects: a website and a small work tool.

Appendices

Plain-English definitions, commands, and fixes for common errors.

Common questions

Who is this book for?

Non-technical professionals who want to use AI to build small tools, websites, and automations themselves — without becoming software engineers or hiring one. Read it in a sitting and walk away able to build.

Do I need to know how to code?

No prior coding experience required. The book starts at "open Terminal for the first time" and walks through everything from there, including the handful of Git and command-line basics you'll actually use.

How long does it take to read?

Under two hours. The book is intentionally short. Appendices cover terms, commands, and common errors for reference afterwards.

What is the difference between the editions?

The book has eight chapters. Six of them — the universal "how to build with AI" parts — are identical across editions. Two chapters (setting up your tool, and working with it day-to-day) are tailored per edition: Claude Code, ChatGPT/Codex, Gemini CLI, or Grok. Pick the edition matching the AI you want to use.

What format does it come in?

You are buying the downloadable PDF guide. The PDF is attached to your delivery email and also available on your private download page. We include the audiobook at no extra charge as a companion download.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes. 14 days, no questions asked. Email contact@theaiguidebook.ai from the address you used at checkout and we'll refund the full purchase price.

Can I share my copy?

Your license is for personal use. You can read it on as many of your own devices as you like; please don't redistribute the files.
